NJ during World War II while his dad, Walter Sr. was serving in
the United States Marine Corp.
Walter was one of five children.
Several years after the war the family moved to suburban New Jersey where he lived out his youth.

Synopsis

A routine mission on the International Space Station turns perilous when a mysterious cloud drifts in from the cosmos. The three astronauts onboard immediately evaluating the threat. Simultaneously, NASA undertakes a comprehensive assessment from Earth.
An alien vessel, returning from the outskirts of the Milky Way, observes the astronauts perilous situation.
Their initial decision is to remain uninvolved, however the vessel’s Commander ultimately decides to extend assistance.
The resulting encounter marks humanity’s first contact with an extraterrestrial civilization.
The aliens’ brief observation of life on Earth instills a sense of unease, leading to repercussions that will shape future events for Earth’s inhabitants.
This story explores the complexities and far-reaching consequences of first contact between humanity and an unknown species.
